Situated inside the Wyalkatchem CRC, the library receives 50 new books and DVDs every month from the State Library of WA for your enjoyment. All new deliveries are placed on the front shelving for your convenience.

Keep the kids busy with the latest movie or stay up to date with the latest seasons of your favourite TV shows.

Want to teach your kids about history at your own pace without the glare of a computer screen or fear of going over your download limit? Grab a book from the non-fiction shelf and you are halfway to a voyage of shared discovery.

If there's a particular book or DVD that you would like to borrow from another library, we can also organise that for you at no charge!

Finally, best of all, membership to the library is completely free!

Thanks to the State Library of WA's rolling Digital Technology Inclusion grants, the Wyalkatchem Public Library received a grant to purchase a laptop and two new Bluetooth barcode scanners to enhance the experience of using the library. We will also be making it possible for our library patrons to look up items that may be held at other libraries within Western Australia or even check out/return books yourself. This is entirely optional and as always, we're happy to assist with your enquiries too.

With hoopla digital and the State Library of WA, Wyalkatchem Public Library members can now instantly read, watch and listen to their choice of more than 790 000 titles, for free with their library membership.
